Notes

An IGI submission claims this James Anderson, Jr. was born abt. 1753, but since he was old enough to acquire land in 1766, he had to have been born well prior to 1745, likely closer to 1739 based upon baptismal records of his siblings at Tinkling Spring, Augusta County, Virginia. James Anderson, Jr. may have been born elsewhere {perhaps Pennsylvania?] prior to his family's migration to Augusta County, VA.
