    Deed 22 Dec 1801, William Morrow and Jane his wife of Shelby County to Judith Booker, Mildia Merriwether, Elizabeth Merriwether, William Merriwether, Sarah Merriwether, James Merriwether, and Richard Merriwether children of James Merriwether decd, for 412 pounds, sold 223 acres upon which sd Morrow “now lives,” on north fork of Clear Creek, adj John Breckinridge, and it was understood that Morrow had conveyed seven acres of the original 230 acres to John Doyell, the sd 230 acres was deed by John Breckinridge and Mary his wife to sd Morrow on 22 Sept 1796; wits. John Bustard, Geo. Willson, Thos. Prather, R. Slaughter; Deed acknowledged 5 Jan 1802, and wife Jane relinquished her dower.
