WILL:

    I Jacob Weydemeyer of the Twp. of Tinicum County of Bucks And state of Pennsylvania Yeoman being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament. 
    And first I direct that my body be decently intered in the Red Hill Cemetery in said Township according to the rites and ceremonies of the Prespitarian Church and that my funeral be conducted in a manner coresponding with my estate and situation in life. 
    As to such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows viz. 
    Item.  I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catharine Weydemeyer one sewing machine Two stoves and all meats that is left after my decease all moneys that she brought to me and ar as her ....inting shows for the same. 
    Item.  I also devise and bequeath to her my said wife the use 

improvements And income of my messuage And lot of land on which my dwelling home is situated in which we now reside of three acres with its appurtenaces adjoining lands Levi Yost and the Durham? Road and other ..... and to hold the said messuage above described and appurtinances for ..... her natural life.

    And in case my said wife after my death is unwilling to live alone she has the privilege of Keeping her children at home until they marry or want to leave home.  Also request that after my decease the farm opposite my lot in said Township which is now occupied by Reuben Eaton as tenant adjoining lands .... James? Sear Elias Strouse and Isaac Weydemeyer and others.  And containing twenty-three acres & a half more or less to be sold at Public ..... to the high bidder and give and bequeath to my said wife one third absolutely and the remaining two thirds I give and bequeath to my four children share and share alike excepting one of my Grand daughters, Clara Textor daughter of Amanda who being the wife of John Textor deceased and has since entermarried with Casper Garner is to have four hundred dollars allowed out of the shares of my daughter Amanda wife Casper Garner.  And I also request that my said wife shall not be entitled to one third of the loose property but after paying my legal debts it is (to) be divided share and share alike amongst my four children and I also request that after my wifes decease the said lot which I have bequeathed to my said wife shall be sold at Public _endice And the proceeds therof to be 

equally divided share & share alike excepting my Grand daughter Clara Textor daughter of Amanda who being the wife of John Textor deceased and has since intermarried with Casper Garner is to have one hundred dollars out of Amanda's share. And the share of my real estate herein devised and bequeathed to my wife in lieu of her dower at Common law.

    Lastly I appoint my son-in-law Henry Overpeck to be the executor of this my last will and testament. 
    In witness whereof I Jacob Weydemeyer the testator leave to this my will written on two strips of paper set my hand and seal this Twenty-eighth day of October A. D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

Signed sealed and published and declard by the above mentioned Jacob Weydemyer as and for his last will and testament in the presence of me who have hereunto subscribed my name as witness thereto in the prescence of this said testator and of each other. The 22 & 23 lines being interlined before signing.

Bucks County SS Be it remembered that on the sixth day of September A. D. 1886 this Annexed last will and testament of Jacob Weydemeyer deceased was duly proved when letters testamentary thereon were granted unto Henry K. Oberpeck the executor therein named he having been duly affirmed well and truly to Administer the goods and chattels right and credits of this said deceased according to law. And also diligently and faithfully to regard and well and truly Comply with the provisions of the law relating to Collateral inheritance.
