Henry married Elizabeth Ann Weidemeyer on October 20, 1850 . Eliza Ann was born April 6, 1830 baptized the daughter of Jacob Weydemeyer and Catharina October 24, 1830, Lower Tinicum Reformed Church. They had 12 children, 10 lived to adulthood. Henry K. lived in Tinicum as a carpenter, died September 24, 1907, buried in Nockamixon. Eliza Ann died February 1, 1909 Aged 78 Y 9M 25D. And is also buried in Nockamixon .

In 1850 Henry is living with his parents age 23 and a carpenterin Nockamixon. Henry K. is listed as a carpenter in Tinicum with a mortgaged farm. Both Henry K. and Elisa were of Nockamixon at the time of marriage and both are buried in Ferndale. They had 12 children, of which 10 were still alive in the 1900 census.
