ORPHANS COURT: 4832, No. 5, Susannah Widemoyer, et al pet for guard; page 140. The Petition of Susannah Widemoyer widow of Jacob Widemoyer late of Tinicum Twp. and mother and next friend of Jonas Widemoyer was presented and read representing that the said minor is above* the age of fourteen years and has no person Legally authorized to take charge of his person and estate. She therefore prays the Court to be permitted to Recommend Michael Worman as guardian. Whereupon September 12th 1837 the Court appointed Michael Worman as recommended by the petitioner.

  • In the original document, the word above is written on the line and is underlined. Above the word "above" is written the word "under". [I assume this means he was "under the age of fourteen years. Howard Johnston note, 29 Oct. 1993].
