• Page 9.--16th October, 1760. Same (From Maurice Poutz (signed Pound), of Fairfax) to Henry Pirgy (s/b Perkey), £154, 360 acres, part of Jacob Steven's great tract, formerly conveyed to Christopher Francisco, the elder, and by Stophel Francisco, his attorney in fact, to Maurice Pound, 2d July, 1752, on north side Shenandore; John Stevenson's meadow; cor. Ludwick Francisco. Delivered: Jacob Pirkey, February, 1767.

• Page 107.--13th October, 1761. Henry Perkey's (German) will, farmer Wife, Margaret; eldest son, Jacob, tract purchased of Mary Pond, 360 acres on the tract purchased of John Wilson if other is lost; daughters, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth; daughter, Elizabeth, 135 acres on Lick Run joining Nicholas Null; daughter, Ann, a tract on Shanando joining Elizabeth; sons, John and Henry. Executor, wife Margaret. Dated at end 2d November, 1761. Teste: Robt. Hook, James Bruester, Patrick Wilson. Proved, 17th February. 1761 (should be 1762), by the witnesses. Margaret qualified, with James Waite, James McClure. Margaret's mark ( ).

• Vol. 2 - Pirkey vs. Pirkey--O. S. 107; N. S. 36--Orator is Jacob Perkey, of Rockingham, son and heir-at-law of Henry Pirkey, who died 1760. In 1753 Henry entered 400 acres in Augusta County. His widow made an inclusive survey for their two sons. Henry and John, to exclusion of orator. Orator's brother John died testate, devising the land to his sons, Henry and Jacob. Answer says Henry Perkey died testate in 1761, will in Augusta. John Pence deposes, 1807, George Pence was son-in-law of orator's mother. George and John are brothers.

• Vol. 2 - Perkey vs. Perkey--O. S. 225; N. S. 79--Bill, 1811. Complainants are, viz: Henry and Jacob Pirkey, executors of will of Jacob Pirkey, deceased, who had son, Solomon. Jacob died testate. Will of Jacob Perkey of Rockingham. Sons, Henry, Solomon, Jacob; wife, Elizabeth; seven children; children heirs of son John; daughters, Catherine, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary. Recorded in Rockingham, June, 1809.
