- Jacob Bowman, assignee of Christian Bowman of Augusta County who desires survey to be made out in Jacob Bowman, his son's name; 8 Dec. 1749 - 12 Mar. 1749/50; 99 acres on North River of Shannandoah above Narrow Passage; adj. William Hopober, Chas. Huddle. (The survey shows Christian Bowman's tract directly across the river.) CC - Joseph Langdon & Archibell Ruddle. Capt. John Funk present on survey. Surv. George Byrne.
