Information from his sister, Sarah A. Turner, and daughter, Marie A. French. He married 1st to Marie Collins Witte, mother of their three children. She died right after the birth of last child, Marie. He lived in Montgomery, Alabama and Geneva, Alabama. He spent many years before his death in the same house in Geneva, Alabama where I visited him and his family. He had a large family group living together at home after his 2nd marriage to Alberta: his three children by his first marriage, his 2nd wife and her two girls by a former marriage and her step-son, Hugh or "Brother", from her former husband's earlier marriage. There are photos from a reunion, June 1994 in my Jacob Alexexander file.

He died of heart attack or stroke and is buried in the Old City Cemetery, Geneva, Alabama.

occupation:salesman--sold men's clothing, at least from 1930 until his death. He worked for Koho, Weil & Simmons, out of New Orleans, LA, Marie A. French.
