Medical? In her old age she had suffered a mild stroke from which she recovered very well; she had late on-set diabetes & she had breast cancer and a mastectomy in her 70's.

She was buried at Edgewood Cemetery, Jacksonville, 6 Oct. 1975. She graduated from Geneva High School; I have her group graduation picture. She took Greek instead of Latin, which I thought interesting, and kept her Greek text book for years. She helped my father in his business, known then as a "sundry" store with tobacco, candy, ice cream, magazines & news papers. She worked at the voting stations during elections, 1935-40, then as a sales clerk at Furchgott's Dept. Store in the drapery department when she was a widow, all in Jacksonville, Florida.
