Information is from his oldest sister, my mother and his neice, Marie Alexander French. He was called "Dood", short for "Doodle". He was a grocery salesman and lived in Geneva, Alabama, one block from his brother "Jake", the father of Marie, above. He was incapacitated for a few years before his death--was it a heart problem? I remember that he sat out in the backyard under a tree during the day--he was not able to work. He is listed in the Alaabama Death Index, Vol. 28, #13931.
