Mrs. Isadora Picray

Mrs. Isadora Picray, 68, Mississippi Hotel, Davenport, died today in Mercy Hospital.

The body was taken to the Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home.

Mrs. Picray was employed as housekeeper of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf, from 1956 to 1971.

Isadora McCarthy was born in Ottercreek, Iowa. She married Joseph Picray there. He died in 1947.

Mrs. Picray is survived by sisters Mrs. Theo (Dolly) Hingtgen, Dubuque, Iowa, and Mrs. John (Catherine) Regan, Zwingle, Iowa, and a brother, James McCarthy, Dubuque.

Picray Services

Services for Mrs. Isadora Picray, 68, Mississippi Hotel, Davenport, will be 10 am Saturday in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Ottercreek, Iowa.

Visitation is at the Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 pm today.

Mrs. Picray died Thursday in Mercy Hospital.

Mrs. Isadora Picray

DAVENPORT, Ia. -- Mrs. Isadora (McCarthy) Picray, 68, formerly of Dubuque, died Thursday morning in Mercy Hospital, Davenport.

Services are pending at the McCabe Funeral Home at Davenport.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John (Catherine) Regan of Zwingle, Ia., and Mrs. Theo (Dolly) Hingtgen of Dubuque, and a brother, James McCarthy of Dubuque.

Mrs. Picray was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and a daughter.

DAVENPORT, Ia. -- Services for Mrs. Isadora Picray, 68, of Davenport and Bettendorf, Ia., will be at 9:30 am Saturday at the Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home at Davenport, and at 10 am Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at Bettendorf, Ia. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Otter Creek, Ia. Friends may call at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be said at 8 pm Friday.

Mrs. Picray, the former Isadora McCarthy of Dubuque, died Thursday morning in Mercy Hospital, Davenport. She was the housekeeper at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at Bettendorf from 1956 until 1971.
