From the August 5, 1951, edition of the Dubuque (IA) Telegraph Herald Mrs. Albert (Gertrude) Beauchamp Mrs. Albert (Gertrude) Beauchamp, 49, died at 6 am Saturday in her home at South Garryowen. The body is at the family home, where friends may call. Services will be held at 10 am Monday to St. Aloysius church in South Garryowen. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Devaney funeral home in Cascade is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 10, 1902, in Otter Creek, Ia., the daughter of the late J.C. and Margaret McDonnell McCarthy. She was educated in the local schools. On Sept. 12, 1928, she married Albert Beauchamp at St. Lawrence's church in Otter Creek. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Elaine, Monica and Veronica, and a son, Charles, all at home; four brothers, Gerald McCarthy of Otter Creek, John of Rock Island, Ill., and James and Leo of Dubuque; four sisters, Mrs. John (Catherine) Regan and Mrs. Theodore (Mary) Hingtgen of Zwingle, Ia., Mrs. Harry (Celestine) Bughman of Dubuque, and Mrs. Joseph (Isadore) Picray of Bettendorf, Ia.
