    Clayton Whitmore Passes Away. H. Clayton Whitmore, one-time resident of Basin died at [his home, 3142 4th Avenue South] St. Petersburg, Fla., October 18, 1937. Following is a short obituary of Mr. Whitmore: H. Clayton Whitmore was born at Flilnt, Mich., Feb. 24, 1875. He was married to Miss Bess. L. Babcock at Bradley, Mich., in 1898. The Whtimores came to Basin in 1911, went to Casper in 1920 and to St. Petersburg, Fla., for his health in 1925. Mr. Whitmore passed away October 18, 1937. For the past few years he had been in charge of the Paint Department of the Hendry Lumber company. He leaves his widow, Bess L. Whitmore, a son, Harold B., and a grandson, Harold B. Jr., of St. Petersburg, and a daughter, Mrs. Hildreth Kropp of Casper, Wyo.
