Whitmore, 58, of 1723 32nd St. S., St. Petersburg, died yesterday in a St. Petersburg hospital.[He died at home] Born in Saginaw, Mich., Mr. Whitmore moved to St. Petersburg in 1926 from Casper Wyo. He was an active wholesale paint salesman for the Sherman [sic, Sherwin]-Williams Paint Co. He was a Protestant and a member of the Masonic Pathfinder Lodge No. 42, Casper, Wyo. Surviving are his wife, Floyd D.; his mother, Mrs. Essie Babcock [sic, Bessie Whitmore], both of St. Petersburg; a son, Harold Jr., Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Carl Krott [sic, Kropp], Casper. Baynard-Barnes, Biscoe & Yopp Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
