I've been "doing" genealogy for more than 60 years, the last 15 or so quite seriously. I'm a member of NGS, NEHGS, Conn. Soc. of Genealogists and Registrar of the Soc. of Middletown Firsst Settlers Descendants. I'm also the Project Administrator for the Whitmore Y DNA Project, and a long time member of Ancestry.

Most of my research has been confined to the New England states and Michigan and at present I seem to be digging into the Connecticut Reserve
