Funeral services for Daniel Henry Whitmore were held Tuesday afternoon in the Creel Funeral home, the Rev. Randall Larson officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery. "Clyde Fredrickson sang "No Night There," and "Just as I Am," accompanied by Mrs. Pauline Lausch at the organ. "Pallbearers were Othar Lijpus, Burl Blackwelder, Garde Peterson, Ed. E. Moody, Hans E. Hanson and Earl Pearson. "Mr. Whitmore was born Oct. 7, 1876, in Genesee county, Mich. He was the son of William and Amanda Whitmore. He received his schooling in Michigan and Nebraska. "In 1899 he was married in Avoca, Mich., to Nellie O'Dette. They came to Montana in 1913 and homesteaded northeast of Winifred and had resided there until his death. "He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Walter C. Groff of Narberth, Pa., two sons, Russell H. Whitmore and Daniel O. Whitmore both of Winifred, one sister, Mrs. Glen T. Reynolds of Narberth, Pa., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. "Mr. Whitmore was preceded in death by his wife."
