    "David Harvey sang "Throw Out the Life Line" and "In the Garden", accompanied by Louise Langford, organist.
    "Pallbearers were Bert Fuller, Othar Limpus, Oscar Asbjorson, Garde Peterson, John Crosser and Art McGhee. Honorary pallbearers were Earl Pearson, Emmet Mendell, Joe Simac, Clarence Blackwelder, Lloyd Heggem, Fred Crow and Ethan Allen.
    "Interment followed in the Lewistown City Cemetery.
    "Whitmore died Wednesday morning at the Central Montana Hospital after a short illness.
    "He was born July 19, 1905 in northern Minnesota, the son of the late Daniel and Nellie Whitmore. He came to the Winifred area in 1913 with his parents, who homesteaded there, and remined on the homestead after his parents' death. He was retired from ranching at the time of his death.
    "Whitmore received his schooling at Roy and Winifred and graduated from Winifred High School. He had never married.
    Survivors include a brother, Russel H. Whitmore of Lewistown; as sister, Mrs. Walter C. Groff of Philadelphia, Pa.; and four nieces."
