Oct 13, 1984 Helen E Schrader79, of New Haven, died Saturday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. A Native of Bluffton, Mrs Schrader lived in New Haven for many years. She was a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, Legion of Mary, Altar Sodality Blue Army, Third Order of St. Francis, and Catholic Order of Foresters. Her husband, Walter J., died in 1969. Surviving are four sons, Richard H of New Haven, Donald C. of Peru, Paul J. of Auburn, and John F. of Huber Heights, OH; four daughters, Irene Farrier of Ft Wayne, Margaret Moore of New Haven, Mary Merckx of Mishawaka, and Jeanette Durbin of Lancaster, PA; three sisters, Francis Vodde, and Loretta Vachon, both of New Haven, and Jean Girardot of Kendallville; one brother, Robert Vachon of New Haven; 49 grandchildren and35 great- grandchildren. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday in E. Harper & son Funeral Home, New Haven and 10:30 a.m. in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. Calling is from 2-5 and 7-9 today at the funeral home, with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in St John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to St John the Baptist Catholic Church for Masses or St John Community Center, New Haven.
