He had been at the point of death for three weeks. Two years ago Mr. Vachon was in an automobile accident in which a truck ran over his legs. Thirty-nine years ago Mr. Vachon claimed in marriage Miss Mary Nusbaumer, who survives. The ceremony took place in Yoder. Children who survive are: Mrs. Joseph Gabet, Mrs. Leo Vodde, Mrs. Walter Schroeder, Loretta, Fred, Robert, Charles, all of New Haven; Mrs. Arthur Girardot, Fort Wayne, and the son Alphonso, in this city. There are two brothers, Zach Vachon, of Seattle, and Richard, of Yoder. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock at the St John’s Catholic church in New Haven. Interment will be made at Yoder. Evening News- Banner Jan 24, 1930 page 1.
