Died from Membraneous Croup - A sad death occurred at the home of Ellsworth Vaschorn* and wife, south of Reiffsburg yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Their little son John died after being ill less than twelve hours from membraneous croup. He was only a month over six years of age and had gone to school the first of the week. On Wednesday morning he was playing about the yard as lively and as well as could be. In the evening he was stricken with croup and he died within a half day after being taken. Mrs. Vashorn was the daughter of the late George Nusbaumer and a sister of L.A. Nusbaumer, formerly of this city.** The funeral will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church tomorrow at 10 o'clock.
