Person:Harley Haines (2)

Apparently Harley & Martha were at a loss as to what to name their newborn son. According to Harley's daughter, Lisa, Harley's name on his birth certificate is listed as "Baby Boy Haines." The name of "Harley" was given to him later. He is not Harley Osborne Haines, Jr., as one would assume. However he was frequently called "Junior."

According to his sister, Patricia, to RMC, 12 Oct 2016, Harley served on the front lines in Korea and was among the last out. There was a two-month period of time that his parents, Harley Sr. and Martha, had no word from him and his brother, Walter, suggested that he may have been killed - and Martha strongly asserted that he had not been killed (Patricia remembers this incident from her childhood). Patricia believes that Harley was on the front lines for a very protracted time.
