    Richard Haynes [Haines], two year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Haynes [Haines] living just south of Hinesville, died at the Shelby hospital last Thursday following an operation for appendicitis at that institution about a week previous.

    Funeral services were held at the Barkdull funeral home in Shelby at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, with burial in Shelby cemetery.

    The little one is survived by his father and mother, three brothers and one sister. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Crum of east of Tiro.
