Interested in Capt. George HUSTON (son of Archibald) who married Susanna SNAPP. Their daughter, Mary Susan (1800-1863) Md Philip PITMAN of Shenandoah Co, VA. Family story goes that Gen. Sam HOUSTON visited them, picked up their daughter and said "So this is little cousin Vi." Archibald's GS, Archibald, had a daughter who married an Effinger & her daughter married N.Y. Capitalist, Jay GOULD. Have lots of tidbits, but need to connect the right Archibalds & Georges to their correct parents

Note: some sources refer to George Houston's wife as "Mary" Snapp.
