- George Coyle (Goil, Kile) received a patent for 131 acres on "north side of South Branch of Potowmack" on 14th July, 1769, as listed in record below:
- Page 212.----19th June, 1775. William and John Shelton to George Coil, part of patent to Robert Green, 12th January, 1746, on South Branch of Potowmack. Proved, 20th June, 1775, court being adjourned from Fort Dunmore.
Disposition of Land from Chalkley's:
- Page 243.--16th May, 1774. George ( ) Goile and Hannah ( ) to Jacob Goile, 131 acres on north side of South Branch of Potowmack, patented to George, 14th July, 1769. Teste: Thomas Jones.

Felty Goil's will--(Goil vid Kyle-- Coil--Gile)--To wife, Margaret; eldest son, Gabriel; son, Jacob; son, George; son, Martin, 130 acres; to daughters Barbary and Elizabeth (unmarried). Executors, Geo. Hammer and son George. Teste: Geo. Teter, Paul Teter, George Woldridge. Proved, 19th August, 1766, by Geo. and Paul Teter. Executors qualify (George his mark), with Henry Stone and Sebastian Hover.
- Page 35.--19th August, 1767. Settlement of Valentine Coil's estate, by Geo. Hammer and Geo. Coile--Cash paid Gabriel Coile, George Caplinger; cash paid Francis Evick, Geo. Tice, Woolrick Conrod; cash paid Colien Havenor, Nicholas Havenor, Jno. Murray, Henry Stone, Mark Swatley, Christian Grod, Barned Lince, Martin Coile.

Jacob Conrad's will--To son, Jacob, testator's dwelling place; to daughter, Barbara, the place she lives on (wife of Charles Hedrick); to daughter, Elizabeth, the place she lives on, bought of Christopher Thompson and James Skidmore, wife of George Fisher: to daughter Mary Conrad's two children, Margaret Barlet, John Clifton, land bought from Saml. Caplinger; to Jonas Friend, a debt to be paid; son to sign his three sisters their deeds by his Earship. Teste: Wolerey Conrad, John Skidmore, George Kile. Proved, 19th March, 1776 (translation by George Carpenter) by the witnesses. Jacob Conrad qualifies administrator.
- Hull vs. Coil--O. S. 322; N. S. 115--Deed, 6th July, 1807, by Jacob Hull and wife Jane of Pendleton to George Coil of same place, 30 acres patented to John Coil, 20th January, 1801, on South Branch. Recorded in Pendleton, 1st December, 1807. George Coil had a son Jacob. (Note: since this record occurs after this George Coyle's death, it is perhaps a son?).
- Coil vs. Kee--O. S. 342; N. S. 124--Bill by Jacob Coil. Abraham (Aaron) Kee of Pendleton died after 1815, leaving widow Catherine and children, viz: James, Peggy, John, Josiah. Deed, 21st November, 1815, by Jacob Coil and Catherine of Pendleton to Aaron Key, 142 acres conveyed to Jacob by Jacob Hushaw and wife and Eve Hushaw; 30 acres conveyed to Jacob by his mother, Hannah Coil, on South Branch; 200 acres willed to Jacob by George Coil, deceased. Recorded in Pendleton, 5th December, 1815. Jacob Coil moved to Montgomery County, Missouri.
