Obituary

Spencerville GAIL S. REYNOLDS, 78, died at 8 a.m. May 17, 2004, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born Dec. 3, 1925 in Spencer Township to Edward and Gladys Savidge Reynolds, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 11, 1956, he married Elizabeth J. "Betty" Kramer, who survives. Mr. Reynolds retired in 1999 as parts clerk from Reineke-Mitchell Ford & Lincoln, Celina, and had been parts and service manager at Potbury Ford, St. Marys. He was a 1945 graduate of Spencerville High School and attended Giffin Collge, Van Wert, for a year.

Special Notes

Gail was stricken and crippled with polio as a young child. In the earliest group photographs you can usually find him seated on a chair or stool. He would wear braces the remainder of his life. Despite his disibility he led a full life and raised a family. He earned his livihood working in automobile parts.
