MySource:Rebekah Carlisle/Ashton, Violet Reynolds - Recollections

After my grandfather, Paul V. Ashton, died in 2002, my grandmother & I began to sort through boxes of family photographs and I began to take notes. After my mother died in 2009, I began subscribing to www.onegreatfamily to record the names, dates and relationships. In 2011, I discovered www.werelate.org and have been posting information and photographs on this wonderful site with the hope that I will eventually connect to other distant relatives and can better share this wonderful source of photos and information to assist them in their search.

Grandma & I speak almost daily by phone and I continue to visit with her regularly. Although she is now over 96 years of age, she still has a keen memory. She also knows more about her husband's family because Charles & Nellie also lived in the village of Venedocia, Ohio, and Grandma helped to care for them.
