Obituary
The Lima News, Wednesday, November 11, 1998: Elida ROY E. REYNOLDS, 84, died at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 7, 1998 in Tampa General Hospital,Florida. He was born Dec. 22, 1913, in Spencer Township of Allen County, to Edward and Gladys Savidge Reynolds. On Feb. 3, 1952, he married Wanda Ladd Kimmel, who survives. Mr. Reynolds retired as a machinist and mechanic from Buckeye Pipeline Co. after 38 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors also include a stepson, Arthur (Linda) Kimmel of Continental; two brothers, Merle Reynolds of Lakeview and Gail Reynolds of Spencerville; three sisters, Ruby Jones and Violet Ashton, both of Venedocia, and Lela Barnes of Spencerville; five stepgrandchildren and 19 stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Connie: and a sister, Doris Griffin. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville.
