Personal History

Francis Anderson was born about 1675.

Francis was named heir and executor in his father's will dated 27 February 1705[/6] (proved on 20 June 1706).

On 16 November 1714,[3] Francis was appointed sheriff of Lincolnshire for the ensuing year by King George I.

On 16 May 1708, in the Diocese of London, Francis Anderson of Manby, Lincolnshire, Esq., appeared to make oath that he was a bachelor aged about 30 years and intended to marry Mary Pelham of Brocklesby, aged above 21 years. On the next day, they were married by licence in the parish of St Pancras, Middlesex.

Death and Probate

Francis Anderson of Manby died on 29 September 1747, aged 72,[2] and was buried on 1 October in the parish of Broughton (by Brigg), Lincolnshire, England.[1]
