    Elizabeth Catherine Doan was born February 28, 1865 four and one half miles south east of Olney, Illinois where she grew to womanhood.

    On March 1, 1881 she was united in marriage to Joseph M Wilhite with whom she lived until her death. To this union two sons were born. Harry Herman Wilite of Noble, Ill., and Elmer Doan Wilhite of Indianapolis, Ind. surviving her besides her huasband and two sons are three brothers, Frank Doan of St. Louis, Mo., Dr. T. D. Doan of Scottville, Ill., and Amos W. Doan of this city, also one sister Mrs. N. E. Gowin of this city, and a host of other friends.

    She departed this life January 21, 1922 at 11:30 p. m; age 56 years, 10 months and 23 days.

    Funeral of Mrs. Wilhite Tomorrow

    The death of Mrs. Joe Wilhite occurred at 11:30 o'clock Saturday night at the family home at 200 North Boone Street. Mrs Wilhite had been an invalid for several years.

    She is survived by her husband and two sons, H. H. Wilhite of Noble and E.D. Wilhite of Indianapolis.

    The funeral of Mrs. Wilhite will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2o'clock at West Main Street Christian church. The burial will be at Haven Hill.
