 Some identify this David as a son of person:Bazaleel Maxwell (2) of Albemarle County. Maxwell History does not include a David as a son, and "David" is not commonly used as a given name in this family line. Most of the children for Bazaleel (2) as given in Maxwell's history, can be confirmed either through original source documentation that shows a father-child relationship, or at least original source documentation that implies such a relationship. A careful consideration of original source documentation available for Maxwell's in Albemarle County did not show a reference to a David Maxwell. There is no evidence for a will of Bazaleel that could shed light on this problem. In anycase, this David's will was probated in 1794, and Bazaleel's in 1799, so David would probably not appear in Bazaleel's will, even if one existed.
