   ">According to several researchers Edward Maxwell who married Jane Montgomery was also a son of Bezaleel, and he did live in this area of North Carolina, fought in the Revolution in a South Carolina Company and died in 1828 in KY. He was allegedly born in 1744 which would have been exactly right to have been a child of Bezaleel and Rebecca Boyd. The Montgomery’s were also from Albemarle Co., VA. I would also add that Bezaleel had a brother Edward Maxwell who died in Albemarle Co., VA before 1752 when his estate was appraised, so it seems logical that he might have had a son named Edward as well.
