BIOGRAPHY: Christian K Olson was born October 29th 1877, in Stony Brook,Township, Minnesota. He was the fourth child of Kittel and Gunhild Olsonand was born at home on their homestead.

BIOGRAPHY: He grew up and lived most of his life in the Wendell area except for a few years at Ashby and Battle Lake. He married Lena Mybro ofTordenskjold on July 2, 1904.They were the parents of ten children.Christian K Olson passed away on January 22, 1922 at the age of 44. A quote from his obituary. The deceased was a kind friend and neighbour anda loving husband. His sacrifices for his familys comfort is well known,although his work took him out in all kinds of weather all day, he practiced over- economy on his own clothing that his children would have warm presentable clothes. A father's love and sacrifice could not have been more eloquently demonstrated.
