Peter Gunn: In the 1790 census for New York, page 201, there i s an entry for a Benjamin Flandreau of New Rochelle. In his hou sehold, there were four white males of 16 or older, 2 white male s under 16, 5 white females, and 2 slaves. This is most likel y the record for the Benjamin Flandreau born in 1718, given th e number of adults in the household, but I'm placing this info w ith each Benjamin Flandreau listed in this file who could fit th is census record.
