Andrew Hamilton's will, of the Calfpasture--To wife, Martha; to son, William; to son, Andrew; to each grandson named Andrew, 250 acres in Kentucky; to all my daughters; to sons William and Andrew, all books. Executors, son William and son-in-law Wm. Rennocks, wife Martha. Teste: Wm. Lockridge, Samuel Lockridge, Thos. Adams. Proved, 21st September, 1790, by the Lockridges. Hamilton and Wm. Renocks qualify.

Martha Hamilton was born in Virginia, Sept. 25, 1787 [sic], she was a daughter of Andrew Hamilton and Isabella [Martha] Kinkead, both moved from Virginia and settled in Woodford County, Ky., in 1794. [Error - it was son, Andrew Jr. who moved to Woodford, KY]
Andrew [Hamilton] was a native of Ireland, and emigrated to Augusta County, Va.; he had eight children, among whom was John, who was killed by the Indians. ...
