WILL OF ABRAHAM LAREW
IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen I, Abraham Larew of Augusta County in the State of Virginia being in good Health and of Sound mind and Memory (Belfsed - sic blessed - be God) do this tenth day August in the Year of our Lord 1790 make and publish this my laft (last) Will and Testament.
First I give to my son Jacob the plantation I now live on, to him his Heirs and Afsigns (Assigns) forever he paying to my Daughter Mary the sum of one pound yearly and Suplying her with all that is Nesefsary (Necessary) for her comfortable Support: but if they Should not agree about what me be Suficient then each is to chuse a Neighbor to determine what may be Sufficient, and he to Suply her accordingly. Also he is to pay to my Daughter Anna the sum of eighty pounds in money or property at the Money price as they may agree. Also I give to Philip Drake all that he is indebted to me. My Daughter Anna to be paid in two year after my Death. Likewise I give to my son Reuben my Land at Carapehon, to Him his Heirs and Afsigns (Assigns) for and his Choise of two of my Horses and one Suit of Cloaths. And to my son Peter's three Children each the sum of five pounds on demand; and to my Daughter Marys Son John Standlee the sum of twenty pounds if he demand it.
Second, after paying my debts and funeral charges I give the remainder of my Estate to my son Jacob. And I make and ordain my son Jacob sole Executor of this my Laft Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have Set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
Signed, Sealed, and Delivered by the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who were present at the Signing and Sealing thereof
