Will Transcript

In the name of God, Amen.
I, Peter Larew, of Frederick County, in Virginia, being in health and perfect mind and memory, thanks be given to God, calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. And first will that my body be buried in a decent, Christian manner, to be paid out of my estate by my executor. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, I give, demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. That is to say, I give to my five children, Abraham Larew, Isaac Larew, Jacob Larew, Elizabeth Pierceson and Anna Suber, or their heirs, the whole of my estate, to be equally divided amongst them, except so much as to pay my debts and funeral charges.
And I do constitute, make and ordain my grandsons, Jacob Larew, of Frederick County, and Jacob Larew, of Orange County, as my executors to execute this, my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this twenty-second day of July, 1778.
[Signed] PETER LAREW (Seal)
Signed, sealed, pronounced and declared by the said Peter Larew as his last will and testament in the presence of us, the subscribers,
JOSEPH CARMAN,
ISAAC LAREW,
JAMES LAREW,
MARY CARMAN.
On the same day this will was probated, the two grandsons named as executors were duly qualified as such.

Os, I'm looking for information on my ancestor Elizabeth Cresson who married Peter Larue (b. March 25, 1688 in Kingston, Ulster Co. New York and Died May 7, 1783 in Frederick Co. Virginia.) She would have been born in the late 1600. Two of their sons would have been Isaac Larue (b. June 11, 1713 d. March 20, 1795) and Jacob Larue.Any help would be appreciated. Bruce Allen Waymire
