Chipping Norton Rural District existed in Oxfordshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was named after the borough of Chipping Norton to which it was adjacent.

In 1932 the district borders were altered significantly when Woodstock Rural District was abolished and some of its parishes were annexed, along with small parts of Chipping Norton and Witney Rural District.

The rural district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972 in 1974, and now forms part of the West Oxfordshire District.
