   One more proof of the close contacts between Braught clans was the presence of Thomas Reddin, Sr. (living at Findlay, OH aged 68; he died that fall) at the wedding of Theodore and Rebecca on 8 Jan 1877 at Warren Co., IA. Minor conflict among birth year date records 1853 or 1854, but day, month, and location remain consistent.
  See Warren Co. History 1987, pg. 548 mentioning "Theed" Theodore Braucht 1/2 mi. E. of Milford, Squaw Twsp.. April 1915.  My research produced somewhat different data for this family than found in Heim Family Book by Pam Osborne, 1998 (page 49).  History of Warren Co, IA V. 1 1987, F195 (Graham) pg. 548 mentions "Theed" Theodore Braucht 1/2 mile East of Medford, Squaw Tsp.
  The LDS record AFN:1zfas-ck3, submitted 1997 by Laurane Nash (23 Hill Cr, Red Deer, AB Canada T4N 6G3) agrees with this data regarding son, Amadeus R. (I have it Amandus Robert).

At the Hewitt Cemetery there are stones I have photographed for Theodore (b.July 31, 1853, d. Dec. 30, 1919), his wife Rebecca (b. May 16, 1858, d. May 12, 1917) , plus two nearby small stones for Ernest W (d. Sep 18, 1878 age 8 mo 11 days). and a S.E. Braught died Sep. 1, 1880 or 81?? (not legible) age 10 m. 21 days. We know that Ernest W. is a child of Theodore and Rebecca from other documents and this more complete stone enscription. The date of 1881 would be plausible that this S. E. Braught should be another child # 3 of Theodore and Rebecca born Oct 11, 1880, but I had not previously seen any documentation for that child. The larger stone enscription is two sided with the center enscribed Braught. The sides are enscribed Father Theo. C. Braught July 31 1853 Dec. 30, 1919; and Mother Rebecca A. wife of T.C. Braught May 16, 1858 May 12 1917. Of course, this is Rebecca Anthony Cashman. Warren Co, IA Marriages Book 1850-1867 pg. 53: Braucht, Theodore C. to Cashman, Rebecca 8 Jan 1877. Iowa 1885 Census (no index) for Warren County Squaw Twp. shows house 51, family 51 as Theodore C. Braucht, 32 b. Miss; Rebecca, 27; Robert A. 5 son, and Grizzella, 1 son. Notice that this data causes need for analysis for this family ( I suspect there are careless errors here by the census taker also.. I think Grizzella is a daughter). Iowa 1895 Census Warren Co. Roll 239, Squaw Twp House 160 family 160 shows Theodore Braucht, 41 b. Miss; Rebecca A. 30, b. ? (Marion?), and children all born Warren Co.: Amandus R. , 15; Lotty B., 9; Benny E., 7; Laver (male) 3; and Laura L. 1.
