Henry Charles Keith Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marquess of Lansdowne (son of the late Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marquess of Lansdowne, K.G.), of Lansdowne House, Berkeley Square (in Mayfair), and Lady Maud Evelyn Hamilton (daughter of James Hamilton, Duke of Abercorn, K.G.), of Chesterfield House, South Audley Street (in Mayfair), were married 8 November 1869, at the Lady Chapel of Westminster Abbey, co. Middlesex, England. Their marriage occurred the same day as that of Maud's sister, Lady Albertha Frances Anne Hamilton.

Death and Probate

The Dowager Marchioness of Lansdowne, then of 65 Brook Street, died 21 October 1932 at home in Mayfair, co. London, England[4] (registered in the district of St George Hanover Square).[3]

On 22 December 1932,[4] in London, administration was granted to her nephew Anthony George Hamilton and Almarus Edward Henry Digby. Effects were in the amount of £71,715 19s 6d.

Maud Evelyn Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne (née Hamilton; 17 December 1850 – 21 October 1932), was a British courtier. She served as vice-regal consort while her husband Henry Charles Keith Petty-FitzMaurice, 5th Marquess of Lansdowne was Governor General of Canada from 1883 to 1888. She was then Vicereine of India from 1888 to 1894 while her husband was Viceroy.
