George Charles Spencer-Churchill, Marquess of Blandford (eldest son of John Winston Spencer-Churchill, Duke of Marlborough, K.G.), of 10 St James's Square, and Lady Albertha Frances Anne Hamilton (daughter of James Hamilton, Duke of Abercorn, K.G.), of Chesterfield House, South Audley Street (in Mayfair), were married 8 November 1869, at the Lady Chapel of Westminster Abbey, co. Middlesex, England. Their marriage occurred the same day as that of Albertha's sister, Lady Maud Evelyn Hamilton.
Death and Probate
The Marchioness of Blandford, then a widow of 108 Park Street, died 7 January 1932 at home in Mayfair, co. London[4] (registered in the district of St George Hanover Square).[3]
On 22 March 1932,[4] in London, administration was granted to the Most Noble Charles Richard John Duke of Marlborough and the Most Hon. Henry William Edmund Marquis of Lansdowne. Effects were in the amount of £17,720 8s 5d.
