Dan'l. Braucht journal mentions seeing the Oren family in Gilboa, OH in 1846 (also seeing brother David). 1850 Census of Blanchard Twsp, Putnam Co, OH shows Jos. Oren, 29 blacksmith b. PA with Mary Ann, 24 and kids (see family sheet) . Same census shows Nicodemus Oren, 25, blacksmith, b. OH and Kezia, 23. When time, there are sure to be more records available on this family. Also, it is known that some descendants still live in Harrisburg, PA in the 1990s (also see notes for Kathryne Louise Taylor, Earl Forney Taylor III, etc.). Margaret Conine advised that she thought Mary A. remarried a Younder man after Joseph died. 

DAR photocopy named her Mary Abigail (Braught) Oren, dau. of Adam and Rebecca Braught. Marilyn Corbin data received June 2000 reports that she has photos of her gravestone at Harman Cemetery, one mile West of Gilboa, OH. The stone confirms these birth and death dates, plus that she is the wife of Joseph Oren.  Only her middle initial in shown there.

Oakland Co., MI Death Certificate of son Daniel Washington Oren gives her name as Mary Faught, birthplace unknown.
