Henry Hornet was baptised on 6th June 1731 at Shephall in Hertfordshire, son of Elizabeth Hornet, formerly Warner, and her husband Benjamin Hornet. He appears to have died as a young man of 27, being buried at Shephall on 2nd July 1758, when he was described as a servant.
