George Hornet was baptised on 28th April 1734 at Shephall in Hertfordshire, son of Elizabeth Hornet, formerly Warner, and her husband Benjamin Hornet. Sadly George died as a baby being buried nine months after his baptism. His parents went on to have another son named George in 1739.
