Facts and Events
Frank was born in 1881at Mortchup, Victoria. He married Isabella Plenderleith in 1935 at NSW aged 54 and did not have any children. He seems to have lived in NSW from about 1930 however, he also had business interests in both Auckland and Wellington NZ. The last record of him being in Melbourne was in December 1917 when he gave a concert at Furlong's Studio in the Royal Arcade. He may have left Melbourne after his mother died in 1919. It is unknown when or where he died. It was recalled by Wal Amoore that he lived for a time in N.Z. and that he was a well-known singer who used the stage name of Eric Chamers. Wal recalled hearing him on ABC radio when it first started in July 1932. References
