Eve E. Arbogast, 87, a lifelong resident of Valley Head, died at 11a.m. Friday, May 20, at her residence in Valley Head. 

She was born May 9, 1896, in Valley Head a daughter of the late Randolph Cletus and Nancy Jane Snyder Arbogast.
On Oct. 16, 1912, in Valley Head, she was united in marriage to Walter R. Arbogast, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs.Wesley (Lillian) Dodrill and Mrs. Autumn (Edith) Swecker, both of Valley Head; five sons, Raymond and Orval Arbogast, both of Valley Head. Troy Arbogast, Grafton. Keith Arbogast, Huttonsville, and Freddie Lee Arbogast, Valley Head; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Junior B. killed in 1945 in Germany during World War II; six sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Arbogast was a member of the Valley Head United Methodist Church.
