    Annie Louise Olson was born February 28, 1896 at Barnes, Kansas, as the fourth child of Nels and Emma Schaubel Olson.  The family moved to Topeka around 1901.  Approximately 1908 the Olson family moved to the home on the hill in North Topeka.
    On March 8, 1917 Annie married William E. Magnuson.  He was a son of Swen and Christine Carlson Magnuson.  Both Swen and Christine were natives of Sweden.  Will had three brother and one sister.  He was born May 6, 1892 at 1314 E. 8th, Topeka, KS, which has been his home his entire life.  After his marriage they moved in with his Mother.  When Mrs. Magnuson passed away, Will and Anne bought the home and had it rebuilt (1930.
    Will worked for Consumers Sand Company, until he retired around 1959.  They were members of the East Side Methodist Church.
    Will and Anne had four children:  John (Jack), Elizabeth (Betty), Gerald (Jerry), and Ann Louise.  Anne passed away March 3, 1972.  She was admitted to the hospital Feb. 21 for treatment of an apparent chest ailment.  She later developed a kidney ailment.  She is buried in Topeka Cemetery.  Will passed away November 14, 1972.  He had a heart ailment.  He is buried in Topeka cemetery.

    Obituary - TOPEKA DAILY CAPITOL, Saturday, March 4, 1972

    Mrs. Anne Louise Magnuson, 75, 1314 E. 8th, died Friday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted Feb. 21 for a treatment of an apparent chest ailment. She later developed a kidney ailment.

    She was born Feb. 28, 1896, at Barnes in Washington County and spent most of her life in Topeka. She was a member of East Topeka United Methodist Church.

    She was married to William E. Magnuson. He survives.

    Other survivors include two sons, John W. Magnuson, St. Louis, Mo., and Gerald N. Magnuson, 5322 NE Early Court; a daughter, Mrs. Ann L. Navarre, 536 NE Edgewood Drive; three sisters, Bertha Olson, Route 3, Mrs. Ruth Carlson, 515 Horne, and Mrs. Elna Carlson, Clifton; and five grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery.
