19 Dec. 1680, prob. d. young; Timothy, bapt. June 1684, H. C. 1701;
Margaret, again, b. 9 Jan. 1691; Ruth, bapt. 21 May 1693; and Sarah,
3, bapt. 8 Sept. 1695. He was major, and d. 12 Aug. 1708. JOHN,
Hingham, a surg. wh. chang. his name from John Demesmaker, m. 4
Jan. 1675, Mary, d. of Edward Cowell, had John, b. 6 Aug. 1676; Peter,
7 July 1679; Mary, 24 July 1682; Hannah, June 1685; Abigail, 1 Nov.
1687, d. in few mos.; David, 1 Nov. 1689; Ruth, 22 Feb. 1692; Eliz.
7 Sept. 1695; and Abigail, again, 30 May 1699, the last two at Boston,
to wh. he rem. for perman. resid. and here d. 1717. His wid. had admin.
of his good est. 30 Nov. of that yr. His eldest s. JOHN foll. the f's profess.
m. 21 Aug. 1716, Joanna, wid. of Thomas Richards, whose maid. name
was Dodd, but had no issue. JOHN Cambridge Farms, or Lexington, s.
of the first James, m. 1 Jan. 1694, Mary, d. of Isaac Stearns, had Samuel,
b. 20 Dec. 1694; John, 1 June 1696; Ebenezer, 24 July 1700; Mary, 1 Apr.
1702; and Sarah, 20 Apr. 1704. NATHANIEL Reading, s. of the first John,
had Mary, b. 15 July 1656; Nathaniel, 12 Mar. 1659; Hannah 9 June 1662;
and perhaps more, aft. or bef. or both. NATHANIEL, Charlestown, s. of
Robert, by w. Elizabeth Carter, m. 9 Sept. 1668, wh d. 3. Nov. 1694, had
Nathaniel, bapt. 3 Apr. 1670; Joseph, 2 Apr. 1671; Elizabeth 3 Aug. 1673;
Timothy, 19 Sept. 1675; and Rebecca, 14 Oct. 1677; was freem. 1674,
and d. 13 Aug. 1678. NATHANIEL, Reading, s. of Nathaniel the first, d.
says the gr.stone, 7 June 1714. PETER, sec. s. of Dr. John, had, by w.
Ruth, Elizabeth b. 22 Oct. 1707; Mary, 20 Dec. 1708; and John; and d. 1722.
ROBERT, Charlestown 1637, freem. 2 May 1638, deac. 1659, d. 7 Mar.
1665, leav. w. Rebecca and ch. beside John, bef. ment.; Rebecca, m.
1649, Abraham Errington; Hannah, m. 29 Aug. 1654, Matthew Griffin;
and Nathaniel, bapt. 8 Nov. 1640, H. C. 1663. He had good est. by his
will, made 1 May preced. his d. distrib. to w. four ch. and to gr.childr.
beside beq. to officers of the church. SAMUEL[1], Marblehead 1654, was 71
yrs. old in 1700. SAMUEL, Topsfield, br. of the first Nathaniel, may be
the man at Gloucester, whose w. Elizabeth hav. brot. him, at Salem, Samuel in
1661, and Ebenezer in 1664, d. 17 Mar. 1693, at T.[1] SAMUEL, Charlestown,
by w. Dorothy, d. of Abraham Bell, m. 30 June 1681, had Samuel,
b. 4 May, bapt. 9 Dec. 1683; Abraham, b. 6 July 1685, bapt. in Boston at O. S.
ch. 3 Jan. foll. His wid. m. 3 Dec. 1698, Josiah Treadway. THOMAS, Reading,
br. of Nathaniel of the same, m. 9 Mar. 1660, Mary, d. of Bridget
Very, had Thomas, b. 24 Feb. 1661; Sarah, 1666; Ruth, 1668; David,
1670; and Jonathan, 1678; and, perhaps, rem. to Charlestown, there
d. 7 Dec. 1683. THOMAS, Lexington, or Cambridge Farms, s. of
the first James, by w. Abigail had Abigail, b. 31 Oct. 1674; Thomas, 19
Jan. 1678; Mary, 1 Mar. 1681; Hannah, 7 Mar. 1683; James, bapt.
9 Jan. 1687; Jonathan, 17 June 1688; and Benjamin, b. 4 July, bapt. 3
Oct. 1697, at Watertown, as were the two preced. THOMAS, Reading,
s. of Thomas of the same, m. 30 Dec. 1686, Eliz. Felch or Fitch.
TIMOTHY Charlestown, s. of deac. John, by w. Elizabeth d. of William
Hilton, m. 22 Dec. 1673, had Elizabeth bapt. 10 Oct. 1675; William, 9
May 1680; Ann, b. 2, bapt. 8 Jan. 1682; Robert, 30 Dec. 1683; Mary,
19 Feb. 1688, Rebecca, 16 Feb. 1690, and Mary, again, 16 May 1693.
He went with his f. as a blacksmith in some part of Philip's war. His
wid. Elizabeth in her will, pro. 10 Nov. 1694, names no ch. but Joseph.

    CUTT (or CUTTS in modern days), JOHN, Portsmouth (s. of that
Richard, a mem. of Oliver's parliam. 1654, in wh. yr. he d.) was a
merch. from Wales, m. 30 July 1662, Hannah Star, had John, b. 30
June 1663; Elizabeth 30 Nov. 1664, d. next yr.; Hannah, 29 July 1666;
Mary, 17 Nov. 1669; and Samuel; was appoint. by the crown, 1679,
