    CUTLER.
    Leff, Sept. 13, 1722.
[Undoubtedly, "Leff." is Lieutenant. A date in Sep suggests Hudson and Cutler used a copy of records that interpreted the 7th month as the new style July instead of the old style September?]

  4.   Hannah (Tidd) Smith had her death recorded under the name "Hannah Cuttler, (and Relect ot Joseph Smith Deceased)" in 1735/36. But no record or evidence of her subsequent marriage seems to exist. By age, she is a good match for Thomas, and as Thomas' wife Abigail d. 1711 and Joseph Smith d. 1712, it seems quite possible that she might have married (2) Thomas Cutler, and survived him to die as Hannah Cutler?
