- Trimble, William - born 1760 in Augusta County, Virginia, where entered service 1777 in Virginia regiment; entered service there 1779 as substitute for brother James in Virginia regiment; entered service 1780 & 1781 in company of Captain James Trimble (no kinship given); received Pension 1833 in Pulaski County, Kentucky; died there 6/6/1840; married 4/19/1787 Mary Fleming, Greenbrier County, Virginia, by Reverend John Alderson; widow was born 4/14/1772; received Pension 1842 in Pulaski County, Kentucky; resided there in 1846; children: David (b. 1/20/1788), James, Betsey Raburn, William, Polly, John, Joicy, Telitha & Elizabeth; grandchildren mentioned byt not named.
