(Mrs. Joanna Hicks, 42 + John Swick, 62 on 14 Apr 1872--Cler. Co., Ohio mar rec. (v 11, p 426). If this is the same Joanna West, she obviously survived William Hicks; thus was not married to our William Hicks, whose wife at death was Harriet.) !DEATH: Will probate date (Campbell Co., Ky.) (The firm mentioned in the will may be a law firm.) XCENSUS--1900: NOTE: This may be the wrong William HICKS. Orville Jones (1984) now thinks that the correct William went to Dublin Indiana, (near Richmond). Orville thinks that the above ("wrong"?) William is one of the Brown Co. Hicks'. In that case, the "correct William may have been the one who married Joanna WEST. (md. 3 Mar 1846--Cler.
